Our school has made the choice to keep tuition accessible for as many families as possible (at $9,200 for the 2024-2025 school year, our tuition is a fraction of what other private schools cost in our region). In addition, nearly 60% of students at our school receive tuition assistance. The school has distributed over $33,000 in tuition assistance to families last fiscal year and we are giving out even more for the 2024-2025 school year.

Your contribution helps ensure that students throughout the St. Louis region have access to a unique educational choice—one that prioritizes young people’s well being, intrinsic motivation, happiness, communication and decision making skills, and ability to adapt to a changing world.

Through self-directed education (no coercive curriculum, homework, or tests), age-mixing, and a self-governing democratic community, Sudbury offers a welcoming space where students feel accepted and trusted for who they are. With that radical acceptance and sense of well-being, meaningful and memorable learning can unfold.

Donate your vehicle

Saint Louis Sudbury School accepts vehicle donations via our partner CARS. This partner nonprofit works with hundreds of vendors throughout the country to provide donors with free pick-up and to sell the vehicle for the highest returns. In most markets, CARS has the flexibility of multiple sales outlets to route vehicles to the right buyer. They handle all of the tax paperwork for donors and send Saint Louis Sudbury School the proceeds. Every vehicle counts and it all adds up! Learn more about donating a vehicle. Note, CARS is the longest running vehicle donation program for public media (i.e. PBS and NPR stations) in the country.
