GivingTuesday is December 3! GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. Created in 2012 as a simple idea: GivingTuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Since our founding in 2019, Saint Louis Sudbury School and its dedicated community of students, staff, board members, volunteers, parents, caregivers, and supporters have practiced generosity in countless ways. Time, resources, and services have been donated to keep our school thriving.

We truly “do good” every day at school by sharing kindness, respect, and empathy among the Sudbury community and by consciously working to develop and maintain an welcoming place where people of all ages can learn and grow while feeling trusted and accepted. With no coercive curriculum, homework, grades, or tests, Saint Louis Sudbury School students have the freedom, space, and time to pursue their interests, discover who they are, and develop life-long communication and decision making skills. All of this freedom to learn and to be is bounded by school rules and policies developed and maintained by the entire community. Young people and adults help run the school together!
