JOIN US FOR GIVE STL DAY ON MAY 8, 2025
Will you make a commitment to St. Louis this year? Saint Louis Sudbury School needs your support! Saint Louis Sudbury School is Missouri’s first Sudbury-model school, established in 2019. Our school is based on the principle that we are born curious and learn best when we initiate our own learning. We offer fully Self-Directed Education in a self-governing democracy for students age 5-18. With no coercive curriculum, homework, grades, or tests, Saint Louis Sudbury School students have the freedom, space, and time to pursue their interests, discover who they are, and develop life-long communication and decision making skills. All of this freedom to learn and to be is bounded by school rules and policies developed and maintained by the entire community. Young people and adults help run the school together!
This year, we hope to raise $500 to support our Tuition Assistance Program. Nearly 60% of Sudbury students receive tuition assistance and the school plans to provide about $50,000 in tuition assistance in the coming school year.
Will you help us reach our goal with a minimum donation of just $10?
Early Giving begins April 23!
Your contribution helps ensure that students throughout the St. Louis region have access to a unique educational choice—one that prioritizes young people’s well being, intrinsic motivation, happiness, communication and decision making skills, and ability to adapt to a changing world.
Are you ready for a school where young people experience the freedom of childhood, learn what brings them joy in life, navigate being a responsible member of a mindful community, and have the time and space to pursue interests that are meaningful and memorable? This is Saint Louis Sudbury School!
At Saint Louis Sudbury School, life is learning and learning is life.
We rely on volunteers, board members, young people, and partner organizations who donate their resources, time, ideas, and leadership, to keep this unique learning community thriving and open to a diverse group of families. We are deeply grateful for your support!
