Plus, be sure to try Saint Louis Sudbury School’s soup entry in the Fall Fest Soup Competition! Sudbury parent and volunteer Charity Stone led this fun project with students and staff. Our soup is inspired by the folk tale Stone Soup in which a poor traveler cleverly brings together people of a town to each share a small amount of their food in order to make a meal for all to enjoy--all with the help of a "magic" stone.
Organized by Intersect Arts Center, this year’s exciting Fall Festival features free food, free beer, a free petting zoo, and free crafts! Don’t miss the soup competition featuring local chefs with judging from Sauce Magazine and a people’s choice aware that you can help vote on. The family friendly event features live music from a variety of local bands, arts and crafts vendors, and exclusive open studio opportunities with some of the Intersect Arts Center artists. Plus, be sure to check out the coat drive, a free little library for children's books, and much more. Don’t miss this great community event from Intersect Arts Center!
Intersect Arts Center is a creative community dedicated to equipping artists, engaging youth, and enriching community, by providing arts opportunities in the Gravois Park and Dutchtown neighborhoods. Their mission is to bring together a diverse intersection of people to create a collective expression of identity and belonging, to increase access to the arts, to build appreciation of the diversity in their neighborhood, and to use an interdisciplinary approach to make it a vibrant place to create, grow, and thrive.
Saint Louis Sudbury School rents space from Intersect Arts Center. Our daily program of Self-Directed Education for ages 5-18 takes place on the second floor of Intersect Arts Center, Mon-Fri. We are so grateful to be a part of this incredible community!
